Step out in front with the latest incarnation of this full-frame telephoto zoom. Faster AF plus SPORT VR mode hone in on the action without compromising sharpness. The lighter, weather-resistant build goes anywhere. The 70–300mm focal length range (105–450mm when used with a Nikon DX-format SLR) easily puts you in the centre of the action. A minimum focus distance of 1.2 m throughout the zoom range and a 0.25x maximum reproduction ratio lets you get in close and fill the frame. And the Internal Focusing (IF) system means the front lens does not rotate while focusing, which is convenient if you’re using a filter.
